Erica Carulli, LPC, NCC - Owner

Erica is the owner of Erica Carulli, PLLC and the lead psychotherapist. Erica is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Michigan, a Board Certified Counselor (NCC). Erica has extensive experience in attachment and relational trauma, offering a social justice oriented, intersectional feminism approach into the actual therapeutic work. Erica's practice mission is to do the work differently; which includes deconstruction and a focus on the systems within which we are all a part of and the role we play within those systems. Erica's professional experience is vast, including extensive experience with survivors of domestic and sexual violence, childhood sexual assault, child witnesses of domestic violence and friends and family members of trauma survivors. Erica has expertise working with distinguished and prominent clientele, business professionals and other helpers such as medical and mental health professionals. Many of Erica's clients are also activists, change makers and difference seekers.

Erica graduated with her Master's in Counseling and a Post-Master's specialization in Couple and Family Counseling from Oakland University (CACREP Accredited). Erica holds professional memberships in regional and national organizations including the American Counseling Association (ACA), The Michigan Mental Health Counselors Association (MMHCA), Association for Multicultural Counseling and Development (AMCD), Counselors for Social Justice (CSJ), International Association for Resilience and Trauma Counseling (IARTC) and Society for Sexual, Affectional, Intersex, and Gender Expansive Identities (SAIGE). 

Erica is also a freelance writer and speaker. She enjoys traveling but you can often find her with a book in one hand and a coffee in another right at home.
